Ask Your Senators to Support Election Security: Pass the Freedom to Vote Act
The Freedom to Vote Act would improve election security by:
Requiring the use of paper ballots
Encouraging risk-limiting audits that would increase the security of our elections.
Funding tech upgrades that truly improve security and staffing the training to maintain more secure voting systems.
And more.
From Public Citizen
Hello,
We’re almost at Thanksgiving, and 2022 is right around the corner.
And yet - the Senate has still not passed the Freedom to Vote Act, the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, or D.C. Statehood.
So, we are stepping up and showing Congress and the White House that failing to protect our elections and the right to vote is not an option. We must get these bills across the finish line now.
Email your U.S. Senators to let them know that we need this legislation passed - now!

Just yesterday more than 200 protestors were arrested outside of the White House. They gathered to tell President Biden that no matter the obstacles, no matter the difficulty of the path, the Freedom to Vote Act cannot wait.
All three of these bills protect one of the most basic tenets of American elections - their fairness.
The John Lewis Act would help to fight racist voting law changes.
The Freedom to Vote Act would ensure secure elections with paper ballots and robust risk-limiting audits after each election.
D.C. Statehood would mean a full vote for hundreds of thousands of D.C. residents who have never had full representation.
We are not going to stop protesting until Congress and President Biden get the message.
We need to band together, and we need your support. Together we can strengthen American democracy for next year and the next generation.
Thank you for all that you do!
