RSVP Needed! Join us NEXT TUESDAY 9/12

We hope you had a restful holiday weekend! With the end of Summer quickly approaching, we’re back in the swing of things and gearing up to take on the ExpressVote XL – the concerning new voting machines under consideration in five New York counties.

Let’s be clear – these new machines pose serious threats to New York elections. Luckily, we can stop them with your advocacy at the county level. We’re kicking off our campaign to stop the ExpressVote XL and we hope you’ll join us for an ExpressVote XL Town Hall next Tuesday September 12th at 6:30pm on Zoom.

Learn how the ExpressVote XL was introduced to New York, why we’re so concerned about their possible impact on our elections, and how you can get involved to stop them in your county.

We know it’s been a while, so here’s a refresher – the ExpressVote XL is a touch-screen, all-in-one voting machine allowing voters to cast their ballot electronically. This might sound like a technology upgrade, but it’s a major step backwards for New York. Election security experts have nearly universally panned the use of these new machines.

We must reject these new machines and stick to the gold standard of pen and paper voting. With your help, we can protect election security across York and stop the ExpressVote XL together. Join us next Tuesday to learn more.

Sincerely,

Susan Lerner, Executive Director
and the team at Common Cause New York
