I don’t know how closely you follow the drama around Elon Musk’s energetic romantic life or his various baby mamas, but a new wrinkle may in particular be worth our scrutiny.
One mama, former conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair, went on TikTok to mention, almost in passing and while applying her cosmetics on-camera, that Elon told her things on election night 2024 that made her believe he had helped rig Trump’s victory.
COMMENT:: Looking through this flawed report, I saw nothing related to the tactics used to suppress or disenfranchise voters or the threats posed to the vote count or . There is a section on "ELECTION INTEGRITY” that relates to the vulnerability of the DNC databases, without referencing the current daily attempts by the Trump loyalists to seize control of voter databases in key states. It is silent on the many threats to the vote count laid out in the Mueller report. In this atmosphere of obliviousness, New York State Democrats, specifically the Assembly Election law Committee chaired by Latrice Walker, have not advanced key legislation passed by the NY State to protect votes and voters this November in New York. Truthout: Whether or not they read Yarvin or Land or Thiel, they intuitively know that absolute power corrupts absolutely. The real goal is to give that clear vision to the masses of people, who may still mistake Republican tactics as politics as usual, rather than an existential threat to our way of life. …Fear is not enough. Beyond clearly seeing the danger, we also have to remember why democracy is worth everything."
MI Fair Elections: “Election infrastructure did not prepare for threats like this. ...Sophisticated cyberattacks no longer require rare experts…State and county voter roll databases face the same or even bigger risks. Hackers do not need to fake a single ballot to change results. They can alter registration data in hidden ways. This action can block real voters on a large scale or create enough confusion to destroy trust in the final count.”
The Common Cause/ Black Institute lawsuit challenging the certification of the ExpressVote XL in New York was dismissed on Monday 5/11/26
The decision hinges on the idea that whether voters are using hand-marked paper ballots, where the voter's filled-in oval is interpreted by a scanner, or whether they are voting on an ExpressVote XL where the voter's intent is expressed first in text and then translated to a barcode - voters are still relying on the voting machine to interpret their ballot correctly.
We know that everyone reading this email who is eligible will go out and vote or encourage others to vote. But today, we are asking you to go even further. We are asking our community to stand together and help protect those whose right to vote may be challenged here in New York State. View a schedule of Hands Off Our Vote trainings.
The chairman of the Ulster County Legislature’s Ways and Means Committee, Democrat Jeff Collins of Woodstock, is calling for a formal ethics review by the County Ethics Commission and the State Board of Elections into an “apparent conflict of interest and potential misuse of election data” by Republic County Elections Commissioner John Quigley.
"Here’s the part that no one wants to discuss—but it’s necessary if we’re serious about ending this fascist takeover: we have to destigmatize the conversation about stolen elections….for decades, Democrats have effectively imposed a moratorium on confronting the GOP’s blatant election theft—and now, the U.S. and the world are in peril because of it"
"A legal battle is playing out in California between Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco and Democrats who say the Republican gubernatorial candidate’s seizure of more than 650,000 ballots is a political stunt that undermines public trust in voting….Voting rights experts across the political spectrum say the case could have nationwide implications as other Trump supporters and conservative activists push similar – and largely unfounded – accusations of electoral irregularities in an effort to get law enforcement to investigate them.”
"The order directs the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to work with the Social Security Administration to create lists of verified U.S. citizens eligible to vote in each state. It also instructs the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to send absentee ballots only to voters on approved lists, and directs the attorney general to prioritize the prosecution of ballots sent to anyone else.”
Steve Bannon suggested that President Donald Trump deployed Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to major U.S. airports as part of a “test run” for using them to meddle in upcoming elections.
“We can use this as a test run, as a test case, to really perfect ICE’s involvement in the 2026 midterms,” Bannon, a close Trump ally, said on his War Room podcast Monday.
Experts are calling it “the worst voter suppression bill ever seriously considered by Congress.” As the U.S. Senate prepares to vote on a Trump-backed voter ID bill known as the SAVE Act, millions of citizens who lack easy access to its required forms of documentation are now at risk of disenfranchisement. “Republicans are singularly focused on making it harder to vote and pursuing this MAGA fever dream,” explains Ari Berman, national voting rights correspondent for Mother Jones. “It is the overarching goal of the Republican Party now to make it harder to vote.”
COMMENT: NOTHING will be secure about our "homeland" if election denier Markwayne Mullin is confirmed to lead DHS He is unqualified in every way, by temperament, by experience, by contempt for the rule of law. He's a threat to the elections this year. He's a threat to allow terrorists to carry out attacks in the US. He is a threat to the rule of law. Tell your Senators to do everything they can to block Mullin.

The U.S. Senate will take up Tuesday the SAVE America Act, a measure described by election experts as “the most restrictive voting bill ever.” Senate leaders have so far declined to sign on to a procedural maneuver — the “talking filibuster” — that supporters see as the bill’s only hope for getting around a guaranteed Democratic filibuster. That means the bill, which aims to solve the phantom problem of noncitizen voting, is likely doomed to fall far short of the 60-vote threshold it would need to make it to President Donald Trump’s desk.
Times Union: "According to documents Greenhalgh obtained through a Freedom of Information Law request and shared with the Times Union, Clear Ballot told the county Board of Elections that miscounts could have been prevented if results were “verified properly during the logic and accuracy testing of the voting system.””
Dominion has been sold to a Trump associate. Hand counts are essential to verify Trump's vote count! Most counties in New York use the Dominion Voting Machines, our familiar scanners that count paper ballots. The computer generated results are almost never verified by hand counts adequate to confirm the vote count.
Homeland security? We know New York is in Iran's crosshairs. We know terrorism first hand. Remember how they almost took out a dam in Rye, NY with a cyberattack? Iran can target our water, our electricity, our internet, our gas pumps, our elections, whatever critical infrastructure they want. Not from the sky, but from inside our infrastructure.
Now just imagine a world in which the federal government decides not to help protect the Homeland from such attacks. But that’s the world we are in. Today the White House has halted a federal security bulletin warning of a heightened threat to the U.S. in light of the conflict in Iran.
